Just as when I scooped to the world that David Tennant would be the new Doctor Who, there was mocking when I claimed – along with Rich Johnston – that Tom Baker would be back in Doctor Who. Well, even The Daily Telegraph’s now reporting it.
Of course I never knew there would be a few others in it, but hey…

Charity skit hardly counts as making a comeback to Doctor Who. Or are we counting Dimensions in Time too…?
They may well have the actors doing something for CiN, but a skit? Given Russell said they were doing the set competition this year because everyone was too busy to do a scene, I’ll wait for confirmation from the BBC. Plus I suspect bringing Paul and Chris back would be seen as a bigger deal than just a 30-second cough and spit for a charity episode.
More credible return details about Tom are here, depending on how your fan bread is buttered: http://edys-blog.blogspot.com/2008/10/is-tom-baker-really-coming-back.html
And of course, Rich Johnston is also the one who says Paterson Joseph will be the next Doctor (despite having already been in the show in a high profile guest star role) and who’s track record of ‘leaks’ on Popbitch is, to say the least, very suspect, even given his status as Moffatt’s unofficial spokesman/chief cheerleader.
What?
