great post, thank you Craig! It seems twitter is getting more and more popular among journalists. E.g. BBC is currently using twibble along with its GPS features from the Olympics in Beijing (http://twitter.com/bbcsport_matt). Let us know if you have if you have any ideas for the remaining 5%!

As I say Scott, even without a wee folding keyboard, it’s decent. With one, it’s really handy for bashing out copy, getting some quick pics and video. It’s not going to replace the high-end stuff, but as a reporter’s tool, it certainly does the job. Ditto for quick pieces of PR.

Having said that, you seem to have bigger and deeper pockets than me if you can fit that lot in. Probably full of cash as well

If you’ve got room in your pockets for a Nokia AND and iPhone, then surely you could find room for:
A dictaphone
Digi camera
Laptop with 3G card
Personal organiser
Spare batteries for all of the above
Power cables for all of the above
Connectivity widgets to ensure all of the about talk to each other
Other vital “peripherals”
Phone book sized manuals for when said devices inexplicably refuse to function.

I’m sure you get all that in one decent sized rucksack – and you’d also get some of that clutter off your desk.

Having wrestled with the above technology over the years, the N95 sounds magic.
